We use cookies to make our offering more user-friendly, effective and safe. Cookies are made up of small text files, which are stored on your computer and used by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are what are referred to as “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted once you leave our website. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website.

You can set your browser to inform you that cookies are being used. You can also enable cookies in individual cases only, enable the acceptance of cookies in specific cases or generally rule out the use of cookies altogether and automatically delete them when you close your browser. If you disable cookies, it may limit your ability to use this website to its full extent.

Cookies used to perform the electronic communications process or to provide certain functions you wish to use (e.g. the shopping cart function) are saved subject to Sec 6. (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure the error-free technical and optimized provision of its services. If other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, they are handled separately in this privacy policy. Contact Form

If you use our contact form to send us enquiries, we store the information you provide in this form along with the contact details you enter in it to precipitate processing your enquiry and handling any follow-up questions. We do not disclose this data without your consent.

As a result, the data entered into the contact form is processed subject to your consent alone (Sec 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time. 6. Analysis tools and advertising

Google Analytics uses what are referred to as ‘cookies’. These are text files, which are stored on your computer and allow how you use our website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie on how you use our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google Analytics cookies are usually stored based on Sec. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.

Please visit the Google Privacy Policy at: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en for more information on how to handle Google Analytics user data.

Please refer to the Google privacy policy at https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy for further information on how user data is processed.

Once you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history to your Google Account for this purpose. That way, the same personalised advertising messages can appear on any device you sign in to with your Google Account.

To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated IDs from users who are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create audiences for cross-device ad promotion.

You can permanently opt out of cross-device remarketing/targeting by disabling personalised advertising in your Google Account; to do so click on the follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

The aggregation of the data collected in your Google Account is subject to your consent alone, which you can provide or revoke at Google (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR). The collection of data for data collection operations that are not merged into your Google Account (e.g. because you do not have a Google Account or have objected to its being merged) take place subject to Sec. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest arises from the fact that the website operator has an interest in the anonymous analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.

For more information and the data protection provisions, please see the Google privacy policy at: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/.

We use what is referred to as conversion tracking as part of Google Ads. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files which the web browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, both Google and the website site operator can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Google Ad customer receives a different cookie. These cookies cannot be tracked through Ads customers’ websites. The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Ads advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. They do not receive any information that personally identifies users however. If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can opt-out of it by simply disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie under User Preferences in your browser. Doing so stops you being included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of conversion cookies takes place subject to Sec. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.

For more information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking, see the Google Privacy Policy at: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

7. Newsletter

The data entered into the newsletter subscription form is processed subject your consent alone (Sec 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can revoke the consent you have given to the data, email address and the use of the same being stored for sending the newsletter at any time, for example, by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations we have already performed up to the point of you revoking your consent remains unaffected.

We save the data you have provided for subscribing to the newsletter until you cancel your subscription, after which we delete it. Data stored with us for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members area) remain unaffected by this.

8. Plugins and Tools

This allows the behaviour of page visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website when they click on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.

The data collected is anonymous for us as the operator of this website, and we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, Facebook does store and process the data thus making a connection to the respective user profile possible. Facebook can also use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy. This allows Facebook to place advertisements on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. As the site operator, we cannot influence the use of the data.

You can find more information on the protection of your privacy in the Privacy Policy from Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You can also disable the Custom Audiences remarketing function in the Ad Settings section at: https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. You have to be logged in to Facebook to do so.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can opt out of user based advertising from Facebook on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices

This site uses what are referred to as Web Fonts which are provided by Google.. When you visit a page, your browser loads the Web Fonts required into the browser cache to correctly display texts and fonts. To do so, your browser needs to connect to Google servers.
